
About the Project
We developed a platform in Laravel and Vue.js for appointment management in a clinical laboratory. This system includes a WhatsApp bot that handles inquiries and assigns appointments based on availability.
The project focused on creating a comprehensive system for appointment management in a clinical analysis laboratory. Using modern technologies such as Laravel and Vue.js, a platform was developed that allows users to register, request appointments, and receive information about tests easily and quickly.
One of the standout features is the implementation of a WhatsApp bot. This bot not only handles automated inquiries but also allows patients to book appointments based on the laboratory's availability and their preferences. From the back office, laboratory staff can oversee and manage conversations with clients, providing personalized service when necessary.
Additionally, a management panel was created to control contacts and monitor interactions. This ensures that the laboratory team has all the necessary tools to provide high-quality service. A web platform with content management was also implemented, facilitating communication of relevant information about the laboratory and the services offered.
Among the most important achievements are the improvement in the efficiency of the appointment scheduling process and customer satisfaction, thanks to more agile service through multiple channels.
Challenge
The laboratory faced the challenge of managing a high volume of inquiries and appointment requests, exceeding 300 inquiries per day. This resulted in long wait times and a significant burden on the staff. The lack of an efficient system to handle these interactions hindered customer service and affected the team's productivity.
Solution
To solve the problem, a system was designed and implemented that integrates appointment management and a WhatsApp bot that automatically responds to common inquiries. An agile development was carried out, ensuring that all necessary functionalities were available for users and the laboratory team.<br><br>The bot allows users to register, obtain appointments, and receive reminders, while the support team has the capacity to intervene and follow up on any conversation that requires it.
Results
As a result of implementing this project, the laboratory experienced a significant reduction in response times and better organization of conversations. Automation helped avoid repetitive inquiries and optimized the performance of the customer service staff. This system not only facilitated communication but also increased management capacity, allowing the laboratory to efficiently and effectively handle more than 300 inquiries.
